Prof. Sanjay Chandwani did his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, University of Allahabad. He followed it up with Post Graduation in Rural Management from the renowned Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA). He has worked in myriad Industries at the middle and senior management levels for over 13 years. During this time, he worked in the areas of Project management, Rural Energy, Business Process Reengineering, Turning around underperforming organisations, Marketing of products and services. He was associated with some of the most renowned Indian and International companies. He left being in the employment of commercial corporate world to pursue a career in Academics, Training, Research, and Consulting.

He has been associated as a faculty member with several premier Business Schools of the country like BIMTECH, Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurugram, IMT, Fore School of Management, International Management Institute, New Delhi and IIM Rohtak in the last 20 years. He is also associated as a trainer, guest, and visiting faculty at many national and international institutes and forums. He has trained senior managers of leading Private and Government Organisations in the various facets of Marketing and Strategy. He is a consultant with several well-known organizations from among Multilateral funding agencies (UNDP, UNICEF, the World Bank) as well as organizations in the government, private and NGO sectors. His area of expertise is in the areas of improving performance, productivity and efficiency of persons and organisations, turning around underperforming organisations, business opportunity analysis, risk assessment as well as Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E). He is also adept at designing, guiding and preparing detailed project report (DPR) for new ventures. He lectures extensively and is a well-sought speaker by forums in India and abroad.

Prof. Sanjay Chandwani has also been a consultant with the Ministry of Education, Government of India for conducting Monitoring & Evaluation of School & College Education programmes and schemes. He has been an important member of Learning & Development (L&D) institutes that are engaged in the design & delivery of career counselling, improving employment chances and personality development programs for the youth of the country. He is also been an Education Expert with National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd.(NTPC)  for the last decade for improving more than 50 NTPC supported schools located in NTPC townships. He regularly conducts performance audits of these schools and designs steps to make them future-ready and student-centric.
